Do you know what's sad about this? These Trump supporters didn't care if a fellow human, citizen or not, was tossed out of this country, or lost their job due to DOGE, or had their healthcare denied. They didn't give one shit about them.
The moment you start crashing the market by slapping on tariffs? BOOM! They suddenly care about what the Mad King is doing.
Hands OFF!
Yesterday, April 5th, was a nationwide rally called "Hands Off!" It turned out better than expected. Here's a rolling list of a lot of the protests that were reported. Many are not being reported, but the time is coming when they can't ignore our angry voices anymore.
This is a good first start, but we need to keep it going. We need to double the size every time and make them fear us. Make Congress fear what will happen to them if they don't keep the Mad King in check. We will NOT stop until the Mad King and his Project 2025 buddies are nothing more than a sad footnote in our history.
"I Want Clean Water!" BULLSHIT
I remember when Trump stood on stage and said how he supports the environment by wanting clean water and air. I called bullshit then and I call more bullshit now.

The Trump Environmental Protection Agency move involves changing the way the agency carries out chemical risk evaluations, which would also pre-empt state laws that offer the one of few meaningful checks on toxic chemicals in consumer products.
The plan could also largely undo California’s effective Proposition 65 law, and could spell the end of meager federal prohibitions, including an early 2024 ban on asbestos.
“This will increase health risks to consumers by exposing them to toxic chemicals,” said an EPA employee who spoke to the Guardian on the condition of anonymity for fear of retaliation.
My mother couldn't drink her town's water for over a year because of PFAS contamination. Was it costly to clean up? Yes, but it was so worth it. Our country will be better off with this administration gone.

I shudder in horror just thinking about acres and acres of clear-cut trees because the Mad King wants lumber to sell. With all the tariffs, does he think there will be a real estate boom? What group of people will be able to buy a new home? He's off his rocker.

In all this negative news, this is a nice change of pace, and it shows what is possible if we all work together. This is a large-scale sustainability and environmental restoration project that brings a big smile to my face.
This idea can be applied to our country as well. Imagine if we "greenify" our cities with food forests.
